of <h1>Tripura Amends GST Notification: Adds Tamarind and Leaf Plates to Tax Schedule Effective October 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Tripura has issued Notification No. 15/2019-State Tax (Rate) to amend Notification No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Tripura State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2019, the amendments introduce new entries in the schedule of goods subject to state tax. Specifically, 'Tamarind dried' is added under serial number 57A, and 'Plates and cups made up of all kinds of leaves/flowers/bark' under serial number 114C. These changes are made following the recommendations of the Council.
