of <h1>Jharkhand Exempts GSTR-1 Filing for 2019-20 If GSTR-3B Submitted; Amendment to Notification No. 21/2019 Effective June 2020.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand has amended Notification No. 21/2019-State Tax, dated June 28, 2019, under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from June 25, 2020, specifies that taxpayers who have filed returns in FORM GSTR-3B instead of FORM GST CMP-08 for the financial year 2019-20 are exempt from submitting the statement in FORM GSTR-1 or the self-assessed tax details in FORM GST CMP-08 for that year. This amendment was issued by the Commercial Taxes Department on the recommendation of the GST Council.
