of <h1>Maharashtra Extends Deadline for Orders u/s 54(7) of MGST Act to August 31, 2020.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has amended Notification No. 46/2020-State Tax to extend the deadline for passing orders under Section 54(7) of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The period is extended until August 31, 2020, or in some cases, up to fifteen days thereafter. This amendment, issued under the authority of Section 168A of the MGST Act, was published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette and is enacted on the recommendations of the GST Council. The notification was issued by the Finance Department on July 3, 2020, under the authority of the Governor of Maharashtra.
