of <h1>Uttarakhand extends GST refund order deadline due to COVID-19; new due date is June 30, 2020, or later.</h1> The Government of Uttarakhand has issued a notification extending the time limit for issuing refund orders under the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This extension applies to cases where a notice for rejection of a refund claim has been issued and the deadline for issuing an order falls between March 20, 2020, and June 29, 2020. The new deadline is either 15 days after the registered person responds to the notice or June 30, 2020, whichever is later. This measure is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is effective from March 20, 2020.
