of <h1>Tamil Nadu GST Registration: Aadhaar Authentication Mandatory for Authorized Signatories and Partners from April 1, 2020, per Rule 8.</h1> The Government of Tamil Nadu, under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, mandates that authorized signatories, managing and authorized partners of partnership firms, and the Karta of Hindu undivided families must authenticate their Aadhaar number for GST registration eligibility. This requirement, effective from April 1, 2020, is outlined in rule 8 of the Tamil Nadu GST Rules, 2017. If Aadhaar is not assigned, alternative identification methods will be provided as per rule 9.
