<h1>Tamil Nadu Extends Expired E-Way Bills Validity to June 30, 2020, u/s 168A of GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Tamil Nadu, under the authority of section 168A of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued an amendment to a previous notification regarding the validity of e-way bills. This amendment extends the validity of e-way bills generated under rule 138 of the Tamil Nadu GST Rules 2017, which were created on or before March 24, 2020, and expired on or after March 20, 2020. The validity of these e-way bills is now extended until June 30, 2020. This notification is effective retroactively from May 31, 2020.
