of <h1>Puducherry Amends GST Notification: 6% State Tax on Rental Motor Vehicles with Fuel Provided to Corporates.</h1> The Government of Puducherry has amended Notification G.O. Ms. No. 13/2017-Puducherry GST (Rate) dated June 29, 2017. Under the new amendment, services involving the rental of motor vehicles designed to carry passengers, where fuel costs are included, provided to a corporate body, are specified. The amendment specifies that any person, other than a corporate body, supplying such services to a corporate body without issuing an invoice charging a State tax rate of 6% will be affected. This change is enacted under the authority of the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, based on recommendations from the Council.
