of <h1>Puducherry Implements GST Fourth Amendment Rules from April 1, 2020, u/r 5.</h1> The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry has designated April 1, 2020, as the effective date for the implementation of the provisions outlined in the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2019. This decision follows the recommendations of the Council and is executed under the authority granted by rule 5 of the aforementioned amendment rules, initially notified on August 5, 2019. The notification was issued by the Secretary to Government (Finance) from the Commercial Taxes Secretariat in Puducherry.
