The amendment involves the removal of serial number 5 and its related entries from the schedule. A new paragraph, 1A, is added, specifying that powers and duties under section 69 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, will be exercised by designated officers, including the Special Commissioner and Additional Commissioners of State Tax from various zones, as well as Joint Commissioners of State Tax-Investigation in Mumbai.
