of <h1>Andhra Pradesh mandates Aadhaar authentication for GST registration of non-individual entities under 2017 Act, Rule 9 applies.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh, under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, mandates that specific non-individual entities undergo Aadhaar authentication for GST registration. This applies to authorized signatories, managing and authorized partners of partnership firms, and the Karta of Hindu undivided families. If Aadhaar is unavailable, alternative identification methods will be provided as per rule 9 of the Andhra Pradesh GST Rules, 2017. This requirement is effective from April 1, 2020, following recommendations from the GST Council.
