<h1>Chhattisgarh Lowers CGST for Aircraft MRO Services from 18% to 5% with Full ITC, Effective April 1, 2020.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh has issued Notification No. 02/2020-State Tax (Rate), amending Notification No. 11/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated 28.06.2017. This amendment reduces the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) rate for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services related to aircraft from 18% to 5%, with full Input Tax Credit (ITC) available. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest and is based on recommendations from the Council. The amendment will take effect on April 1, 2020, as ordered by the Principal Secretary, on behalf of the Governor of Chhattisgarh.
