of <h1>Mizoram exempts individuals from GST registration for turnover below 40 lakh, with exceptions u/ss 24 and 25(3).</h1> The Government of Mizoram, under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has exempted individuals engaged in the exclusive supply of goods from registration if their annual turnover does not exceed 40 lakh rupees. This exemption does not apply to those required to register under section 24 of the Act, those supplying specific goods like ice cream, pan masala, and tobacco, those making intra-State supplies in specified states, or those opting under section 25(3) of the Act. The notification takes effect on April 1, 2019.
