of <h1>Karnataka Updates GST Notification to Include Aircraft Maintenance Services at 2.5% Rate Effective April 2020.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has issued Notification No. 02/2020 to amend Notification No. 11/2017, dated June 29, 2017, under the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective April 1, 2020, adds new entries to the existing notification, specifically including maintenance, repair, or overhaul services for aircraft, aircraft engines, and related components, with a specified rate of 2.5%. This change is made in the public interest on the recommendation of the Council, as authorized by various sections of the Karnataka GST Act, 2017.
