of <h1>Rajasthan GST Act Exempts Non-Citizens from Aadhaar Authentication Starting April 1, 2020, Following GST Council Advice.</h1> The Government of Rajasthan, under the Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification exempting certain individuals from Aadhaar authentication requirements. Effective April 1, 2020, the exemption applies to non-citizens of India and excludes specific classes such as individuals, authorized signatories, managing and authorized partners, and the Karta of a Hindu undivided family. This decision follows the recommendations of the GST Council and is aimed at streamlining the authentication process for specified groups.
