of <h1>Assam Govt Extends GST CMP-08 Filing Deadline for July-Sept 2019 Quarter to October 22, Effective Retroactively.</h1> The Government of Assam has amended Notification No. FTX.56/2017/412 dated 13th June 2019, under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment modifies paragraph 2 of the original notification by replacing a period with a colon and adding a new proviso. This new proviso extends the due date for submitting the statement of self-assessed tax payments in FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter of July to September 2019 to 22nd October 2019. The amendment is retroactively effective from 18th October 2019.
