This amendment, detailed in Notification No. 18/2019, introduces a new entry in the annexure, specifically adding 'Aerated Water' under Sl. No. 2A with the code 2202 10 10. The amendment is made in the public interest following the Council's recommendations and takes effect from October 1, 2019. The notification is authorized by the Chief Secretary to the Government.
