of <h1>Gujarat exempts insurance, banking, and NBFCs from e-invoicing under GST Rules 2017 for turnover over 100 crore.</h1> The Government of Gujarat issued a notification exempting insurance companies, banking companies, and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) from the requirement of e-invoicing under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. This exemption applies to registered persons with an annual turnover exceeding 100 crore rupees, except those specified in sub-rules (2), (3), (4), and (4A) of rule 54. The notification, which supersedes a previous one from December 2019, will be effective from October 1, 2020.
