of <h1>Goa GST Act: Aadhaar Authentication Exemption for Non-Citizens and Certain Individuals Effective April 1, 2020.</h1> The Government of Goa, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification exempting certain individuals from Aadhaar authentication requirements. This exemption applies to non-citizens of India and excludes specific classes of persons, namely individuals, authorized signatories, managing and authorized partners, and the Karta of a Hindu undivided family. This notification, issued on the recommendation of the Council, became effective on April 1, 2020.
