of <h1>Goa Amends GST Notification: New 2.5% Tax Rate for Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul Services Effective April 2020.</h1> The Government of Goa has amended Notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(11/2017-Rate), dated June 30, 2017, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective April 1, 2020, the amendment introduces a new entry under serial number 25 in the notification's table, adding maintenance, repair, or overhaul services for aircraft, engines, and components with a tax rate of 2.5%. Additionally, the wordings in item (ii) are updated to include the new entry. This amendment is issued in the public interest based on recommendations from the Council.
