of <h1>Jharkhand Amends Tax Rate Notification to Clarify 'Bus Body Building' Under Customs Tariff Act, Effective November 2019.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand has amended Notification No. 11/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 29, 2017, through Notification No. 26/2019-State Tax (Rate) dated March 11, 2020. This amendment, effective from November 22, 2019, introduces an explanation to item (ic) in the table against serial number 26. It clarifies that 'bus body building' includes the building of a body on the chassis of any vehicle classified under chapter 87 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This change is made under the powers granted by the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
