of <h1>Special Courts Designated in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh for Tax Cases Under Income-tax Act & Black Money Act.</h1> The Central Government, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, has designated the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate in each Sessions Division in Punjab and Haryana, as well as in the Union Territory of Chandigarh, as Special Courts. This designation is made under Section 280A(1) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and Section 84 of the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act, 2015. These Special Courts will handle cases related to these statutes within their respective jurisdictions in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.
