of <h1>Customs Duty Determination Period Extended by One Year u/s 28(8) of the Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has issued Notification No. 11/2020-Customs, extending the period for determining duty or interest under section 28(8) of the Customs Act, 1962, by one year. This extension is effective from the expiry of the initial show cause notice dated March 22, 2019, for the noticee listed in the table. The Common Adjudicating Authority was appointed under Notification No. 22/2019-Customs dated May 27, 2019, to adjudicate the matter. The notification was issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
