of <h1>Gujarat Revises GST Rates: Changes to Schedule II & III Impact Woven/Non-Woven Bags and Bulk Containers Effective Jan 2020.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has amended Notification No. 01-2017-State Tax to revise the GST rates on specific goods under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective January 1, 2020, changes include the removal of certain entries in Schedule II (6% rate) and the addition of new entries in Schedule III (9% rate) concerning woven and non-woven bags and sacks, as well as flexible intermediate bulk containers. These amendments are made under the authority of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, based on recommendations from the Council.
