of <h1>Haryana GST Amendment: Changes in Tax Schedules for Polyethylene Bags and Bulk Containers Effective January 2020.</h1> The Haryana Government has amended notification No. 35/ST-2, dated June 30, 2017, under the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective January 1, 2020, the amendment involves changes in tax schedules. In Schedule II (6%), serial numbers 80AA and 171A are omitted. In Schedule III (9%), new entries are added: serial number 163B for woven and non-woven bags and sacks of polyethylene or polypropylene, and serial number 163C for flexible intermediate bulk containers. These amendments are enacted by the Governor of Haryana based on the Council's recommendations.
