of <h1>Special Courts Designated in Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir for Companies Act Offences.</h1> The Central Government, with the agreement of the Chief Justices of the High Courts of Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir, has designated certain courts as Special Courts under the Companies Act, 2013. These courts are established to expedite trials for specific offences. For offences punishable with imprisonment of two years or more, the Court of IV Additional District and Session Judge in Dehradun covers Uttarakhand, and the Principal Sessions Judge in Leh covers Ladakh. For other offences, the Court of II Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in Dehradun, Sub-Judge/Special Mobile Magistrates in Jammu and Srinagar, and the Chief Judicial Magistrate in Leh are designated.
