of <h1>Mizoram Rescinds 2017 State Tax Notification Effective February 1, 2019, u/s 11(1) of GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Mizoram, through its Taxation Department, has issued Notification No. 1 of 2019, dated February 22, 2019, to rescind Notification No. 8/2017-State Tax (Rate) from July 7, 2017. This action is taken under the authority of section 11(1) of the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, based on the Council's recommendation and deemed necessary for public interest. The rescission is effective from February 1, 2019, but does not affect actions taken or omitted prior to this date.
