of <h1>Nagaland GST Act Amended: Includes Silver and Platinum, Updates Chapter Reference Effective October 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Nagaland has amended its notification dated December 31, 2018, under the Nagaland Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments include replacing the word 'gold' with 'gold/silver/platinum' and changing 'heading 7108' to 'Chapter 71' in the opening paragraph. Additionally, clause (d) in the Explanation section now defines 'Chapter' as the heading specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. These changes will be effective from October 1, 2019, as per the notification issued by the Finance Department's Revenue Branch.
