of <h1>Manipur Government Rescinds 2017 State Tax Notification Effective February 1, 2019, Under GST Act Recommendations.</h1> The Government of Manipur, through its Finance Department, has issued Notification No. 01/2019-State Tax (Rate) to rescind Notification No. 8/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 28, 2017. This decision, made under the Manipur Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, follows recommendations from the Council and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The rescission does not affect actions taken prior to this change and will be effective from February 1, 2019. The original notification was last amended on August 6, 2018.
