of <h1>Jharkhand GST Notification Amended: 'Gold' Now Includes 'Silver, Platinum'; Updates to Chapter References Effective October 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand has amended Notification No. 26/2018-State Tax (Rate) dated January 24, 2019, under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments include replacing the word 'gold' with 'gold, silver or platinum,' changing 'heading 7108' to 'Chapter 71,' and revising the definition of 'Chapter' to refer to headings in the First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. These changes are effective from October 1, 2019. The notification was issued by the Commercial Taxes Department under the authority of the Governor of Jharkhand.
