<h1>West Bengal Extends FORM GST CMP-08 Filing Deadline to October 22, 2019, u/s 148 of GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of West Bengal has extended the deadline for filing FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter of July to September 2019. Initially set for October 18, 2019, the new deadline is now October 22, 2019. This extension is enacted under the authority of section 148 of the West Bengal Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following recommendations from the Council. The amendment modifies a previous notification dated April 23, 2019. This change is effective retroactively from October 18, 2019, as ordered by the Governor and communicated by the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of West Bengal.
