of <h1>Jharkhand Government Extends GST CMP-08 Filing Deadline for April-June 2019 Quarter to July 31, 2019, u/s 148.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand, exercising its powers under section 148 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. 21/2019-State Tax dated June 28, 2019. The amendment, effective from July 18, 2019, inserts a proviso in paragraph 2 of the original notification. It extends the due date for furnishing the statement of self-assessed tax payments in FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter April to June 2019 to July 31, 2019. This amendment was made on the recommendation of the Council and is documented under Notification No. 34/2019-State Tax.
