of <h1>Maharashtra amends GST notification, appoints Ms. P Vinitha Sekhar as Additional Commissioner of Central Tax.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued an amendment to Notification No. MGST. 1018/C.R. 125/Taxation-1, dated October 31, 2018, under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, dated October 18, 2019, replaces the existing entry at Sr. No. (2) with 'Ms. P Vinitha Sekhar, Additional Commissioner of Central Tax.' This change is enacted by the Finance Department and is recorded in the Maharashtra Government Gazette. The amendment is authorized by the Deputy Secretary to the Government, acting on behalf of the Governor of Maharashtra.
