The amendment involves the insertion of a proviso in paragraph 2 of the notification, extending the due date for submitting the statement of self-assessed tax payments in FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter from April to June 2019. The new deadline is set for July 31, 2019. This change is made following recommendations from the Council and is issued by the Commercial Tax Department.
