of <h1>Karnataka Amends GST Notification: Cement under Chapter Heading 2523 Now Included, Effective October 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has amended Notification No. 7/2019 under the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, as per the recommendations of the Council. The amendment modifies the entry in the table against serial number 2, replacing it with 'Cement falling in chapter heading 2523 in the first schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975.' This change is effective from October 1, 2019. The notification was issued by the Finance Department, under the authority of the Governor of Karnataka.
