of <h1>New Commissioner of Profession Tax Appointed in Odisha u/s 3 of 2000 Act.</h1> The Government of Odisha has appointed an individual as the Commissioner of Profession Tax, Odisha, effective from the date of assuming charge. This appointment follows the individual's previous role as Commissioner of Commercial Taxes and GST, replacing a predecessor in the position. The appointment is made under the powers conferred by section 3 of the Odisha State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings, and Employments Act, 2000, and the appointee is authorized to exercise powers and discharge functions under this Act.
