of <h1>Himachal Pradesh Amends GST Notification: Expands Precious Metals Scope and Updates Tariff References Effective October 2019.</h1> The Government of Himachal Pradesh has issued amendments to Notification No. 26/2018-State Tax (Rate) dated December 31, 2018, under the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2019, the amendments include replacing the word 'gold' with 'gold/silver/platinum,' changing 'heading 7108' to 'Chapter 71,' and redefining 'Chapter' in the Explanation as specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. These changes were made following the recommendations of the Council and are published in the Gazette of Himachal Pradesh.
