of <h1>Goa Amends GST Notification: Expands Scope to Include Silver and Platinum, Updates Customs Tariff References.</h1> The Government of Goa has amended Notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(26/2018-Rate) dated December 31, 2018, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments include replacing the word 'gold' with 'gold, silver or platinum' and changing 'heading 7108' to 'Chapter 71' in the opening paragraph. Additionally, the definition of 'Chapter' in the Explanation is revised to mean the heading specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. These changes are effective from October 1, 2019.
