of <h1>Haryana amends GST Notification: Includes silver and platinum, updates tariff references per Customs Tariff Act. Effective October 1, 2019.</h1> The Haryana Government's Excise and Taxation Department issued Notification No. 84/GST-2 on October 1, 2019, amending Notification No. 105/GST-2 from December 31, 2018. The amendments include substituting 'gold' with 'gold, silver or platinum,' changing 'heading 7108' to 'Chapter 71,' and revising the definition of 'Chapter' to refer to the First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. These changes are made under the authority of the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and are effective from October 1, 2019.
