<h1>RUGNASEVA Project for Free Rural Medical Treatment Extended for Three More Years u/s 35AC.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'RUGNASEVA - Free Medical Treatment for Rural People' project, managed by a charitable trust in Maharashtra, for an additional three years starting from the financial year 2013-14. Initially notified in December 2010 under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, the project was approved for a cost of Rs. 1.55 crore. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare confirmed the project's proper execution and recommended its continuation without any change in the approved cost, covering financial years 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16.
