of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: New Serial Entries for Tech Products, Revised Duty Rates, Effective September 1, 2000.</h1> The notification amends Notification No. 16/2000-Customs, dated March 1, 2000, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendments include the addition of new serial numbers and entries for various products such as pile fabrics for toys, parts of electronic calculators, cellular phones, radio trunking terminals, portable receivers, parts of electronic security systems, optical fiber cables, and parts of photographic cameras. It also revises duty rates for certain items and adds new items to List 16, including Ethernet switches and DWDM equipment. These changes take effect from September 1, 2000.
