of <h1>Goa extends GST annual return deadline for FY 2017-18 to November 30, 2019, u/s 44 due to technical issues.</h1> The Goa Government issued the Goa Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019, addressing technical issues faced by taxpayers in submitting the annual return for the financial year 2017-2018. Under section 44 of the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, registered persons are required to file annual returns electronically by December 31 following the financial year. Due to difficulties, the deadline for submitting the return for the period from July 1, 2017, to March 31, 2018, is extended from August 31, 2019, to November 30, 2019. This order is effective from August 26, 2019.
