of <h1>Assam Govt Amends GST Notification; Effective Date Changed to August 21, 2019, Retroactive from June 21, 2019.</h1> The Government of Assam has issued an amendment to Notification No. FTX.56/2017/414, dated June 13, 2019, under the authority of Section 164 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment changes the effective date in the original notification from '21st day of June, 2019' to '21st day of August, 2019.' This amendment is made in the public interest and is retroactively effective from June 21, 2019. The order is issued by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department of Assam.
