<h1>Gujarat Govt Waives Late Fees for July 2019 GST Returns u/s 128; File by Sept 20 to Qualify.</h1> The Government of Gujarat, under section 128 of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, waives late fees for certain taxpayers for July 2019 returns, provided they are filed by September 20, 2019. This applies to registered persons and Input Service Distributors with a principal place of business in specified districts across several states, including Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Uttarakhand, with an annual turnover exceeding 1.5 crore rupees. The notification is effective from August 31, 2019.
