of <h1>Maharashtra Extends E-Way Bill Block/Unblock Facility Implementation to November 21, 2019, u/r 138E.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued a notification to amend the effective date for the implementation of the facility to block and unblock e-way bills under Rule 138E of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The date has been extended from August 21, 2019, to November 21, 2019. This decision, made under the authority of Section 164 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, follows recommendations from the Council and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The amendment modifies a previous notification dated April 24, 2019.
