of <h1>Indian Govt Updates Exchange Rates for Japanese Yen: 67.75 INR for Imports, 65.20 INR for Exports, Effective August 6.</h1> The Government of India's Ministry of Finance, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, issued Notification No. 56/2019 on August 5, 2019. This notification amends the previous Notification No. 55/2019-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated August 1, 2019. Effective from August 6, 2019, the amendment updates the exchange rates for the Japanese Yen in Schedule-II. The new rates set the exchange for 100 units of Japanese Yen at 67.75 Indian rupees for imported goods and 65.20 Indian rupees for export goods.
