of <h1>Puducherry amends GST tax calculation for suppliers per Rule 7; effective February 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Puducherry has issued a notification amending the previous Notification No. G.O. Ms. No. 9/A1/CT/2017 dated June 29, 2017. Under the authority of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the Lieutenant-Governor, following the Council's recommendations, has revised the calculation of tax for certain suppliers. The amendment replaces the previous tax calculation method with the rate specified in rule 7 of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. This change is effective from February 1, 2019, as ordered by the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government (Finance).
