of <h1>Puducherry GST Amendment Act 2018 Provisions Effective from Feb 1, 2019; Some Sections Exempted.</h1> The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, under the authority of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has designated February 1, 2019, as the commencement date for most provisions of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2018. Exceptions to this enactment include clause (2) of section 8, section 17, section 18, and clause (1) of section 20, which will not come into force on this date. This notification was issued by the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government (Finance).
