of <h1>India Extends GST CMP-08 Deadline for April-June 2019 Quarter to August 31, 2019, via Notification No. 35/2019.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 35/2019 - Central Tax, amending a previous notification. The amendment extends the deadline for submitting FORM GST CMP-08 for the quarter April-June 2019 from July 31, 2019, to August 31, 2019. This change is made under the authority of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following recommendations from the Council. The notification modifies the original notification No. 21/2019-Central Tax, dated April 23, 2019, which had been previously amended on July 18, 2019.
