of <h1>Bihar GST Order Extends Annual Return Filing Deadline for FY 2017-18 to August 31, 2019, Amends Section 44.</h1> The Bihar Goods and Services Tax (Sixth Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019, addresses issues faced by taxpayers in electronically filing their annual returns for the financial year from July 1, 2017, to March 31, 2018. Due to technical challenges, registered persons were unable to meet the original deadline. To resolve this, the Governor of Bihar, following the Council's recommendations, has extended the deadline for filing these returns from June 30, 2019, to August 31, 2019, by amending section 44 of the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
