of <h1>India Sets New Currency Exchange Rates for Imports/Exports Under Customs Act, 1962; Effective July 19, 2019.</h1> Notification No. 52/2019-Customs (N.T.), issued by the Government of India on July 18, 2019, under the Customs Act, 1962, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for both imported and exported goods, effective from July 19, 2019. This notification supersedes the previous notification No. 48/2019-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated July 4, 2019. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules, with rates provided for various currencies such as the US Dollar, Euro, and Japanese Yen, among others. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 55/2019 on August 1, 2019.
